Booking Terms

All weekday evening, and Sunday availablity FULLY BOOKED until end January 2012 - limited availability only from February.

1. All bookings to be paid in advance.  If not paid WITHIN 7-DAYS OF FIRST SESSION, bookings may be cancelled without further reference to the hirer.

2. Cancellations can only be refunded or credited if notified a week in advance in writing. If you wish to cancel your net, as a result of an illness or injury, we will require a doctors certification before we can offer a refund or credit.

3. Bookings are accepted on the understanding that, ’Cricket for Change’ reserves the right to cancel nets at short notice when circumstances dictate and when the School has not taken sufficient number of bookings.

4. All claims for refunds and credits must be made in writing within 3-months of the booking in question, after which period regrettably your claim will be invalid.

5. Indoor sports footwear, preferably white, to be worn in the nets. NO SPIKES.  NO DARK SOLED SHOES.

6. Footwear with heavily ridged, studded or spiked soles is NOT permitted on the playing surface.

7. Conventional cricket whites or appropriate training clothing to be worn at all times.  Players are expected to provide their own cricket equipment, including cricket balls.

8. Maximum of EIGHT players in a net at any one time. This condition is essential for the safety of all net users and non-adherence will result in termination of the booking for persistent offenders.

9. USE OF HELMETS - ’Cricket for Change’ will adhere strictly to the following directive issued by the ECB: ‘A young player (up to the age of 18) should not be allowed to bat or to stand up to the stumps when keeping wicket without a helmet (with a faceguard) against a hard ball.’

10.  Coaching is undertaken on the acceptance that whilst every effort is made to provide the coach requested, this may not always be possible due to unavailability or work schedule.

11. Nets booked for children under the age of 14 (without the services of a coach) must at all times be supervised by an adult.

12. Attendance at the Indoor School does not entitle admission to any other part of ‘Cricket for Change’ Cricket Ground or Centre.

13. It is imperative that cricket equipment should not be left in the nets.

14. Visitors are asked to not practice outside the nets.

15. MOBILE PHONES/iPods, and such like:  should be switched off at all times.

16. NO FOOD OR DRINK ALLOWED in the school at any time.

17. SMOKING will not be permitted in any part of the school.

18. Please do not bring CHEWING GUM to the school.

19. We regret that we cannot be responsible for lost or stolen property, neither can we be held responsible for any injury incurred, so please be careful at all times.

20. Failure to comply with any of these conditions may result in cancellation of bookings.
